Frank N Buzz

Frank N Buzz will be making their new home in sunny San Diego... Lucky!

 I am pleased to intruduce you to Frank N Buzz, another one of my 'one of a kind' 
Dreadful Darlings.     
This monsterously handsome dude is constructed from muslln and carefully needle sculpted and hand painted using acrylic paints.  I pay close attention to details, right down to his finger and toe nails.  He has been brewed in yummy smelling witche's brew to give him an old primitive look. His hair has been rooted into his head.  All of his clothing has been hand tailored from recycled and vintage clothing that I cut down and reconstructed to fit him. He is wearing a green and black plaid shirt, grey denim jeans, and a warm knit cardigan sweater. His clothing is removable. Frank stubbed his big toe, while wandering through the graveyard in the dark, and has had to wrap a bandage around it.
He is approximately 23" tall, and so full of character and charm. 

He doesn't go anywhere without his pet vulture, Buzz!
Buzz is also constructed from cotton muslin that has been needle sculpted, stained in witches brew, and hand painted. His eyes are tiny glass beads. Buzz is 7" tall.

Day of the Dead

This one of a kind Dreadful Darling was constructed from cotton and velour fabrics.  She has been needle sculpted and hand painted.  Her hands have wire in them so she can be gently posed. Also note her long lovely false eyelashes!  She stands aprox. 19" tall.  She will come signed and dated by me, artist Claudia Twede.


This exquisite lady is all dressed  up for a stroll down the board walk!  She represents the Victorian Era with all her finery.  Her wide brimed hat is adorned with feathers, silk roses, with beautiful ribbon and lace.  Her long victorian dress has ruffles and lace.  Her necklace, earings and velvet drawstring purse help complete her total look.

Mr. Fester N. Rott

 Meet Mr. Fester N. Rott.  Another one of my Dreadful Darlings.  Fester is a one of a kind needle sculpted doll.  He is made of muslin, that has been specially brewed to give him an old primitive look, and a yummy spicey scent!  Even his blood shot eyeballs are hand made. His gray wool hair is needle felted into his skull.  He has been "SOLD" and is living with Barbara in Massachusetts.

Bewitching Beuhla

This is Beuhla!
She has been sold and makes her new home in Illinois.

All of Beuhla's clotes are removeable, except for her classic black witches boots.  She is dressed in a traditional basic black dress with a jack-o-lantern lace overlay.  A large satin orange bow ties in the back.  Beneth her dress she is wearing orange swirl print pantaloons.  Her pointed black hat is adorned with a vintage style medalion.  

To complete her look, she is wearing gold hoop earings, a skleton key necklace, a jack-o-lantern charm bracelet, and a lovely black stone ring.  She is also wearing black fishnet stockings, and gloves.   I painted her face with artist acrylics.  Her wool dredlock hair  is hand rooted into her head. (no glue has been used on her).   Beuhla will also come to you with her little friendly needle sculpted wool mouse, her prized grown pumpkin, and her jack-o-lantern baton (which she used to lead this year's pumpkin festival parade).   

Mr. and Mrs. Frankenstein

Frankie and the Mrs. are one of a kind needle sculpted dolls.  Thye are made from cloth that I have carefully sculpted and hand painted. They have wool yarn hair that has been stitched into their skulls!  Thir bodies are stuffed and weighted.  They both measure aprox. 17" in length.   "SOLD" The pair now live in Wisconsin.

Alluring Agatha

I am pleased to intruduce you to Agatha, another one of my 'one of a kind' Dreadful Darlings.      This lovely little lady is constructed from musliln and carefully needle sculpted.  She has been brewed in yummy smelling witche's brew to give her an old primitive look. She is approximately 31" tall, and so full of character and charm.   Agatha has been sold, and now resides in Oklahoma.

Carl and Vince

Let me introduce you to Carl and Vince.  This whimsical pair of Santa's Helpers are quite the duo.  The first handsome elf is named Carl.  He is a sensitive and shy little fellow who works on Santa's loading dock with his buddy Vince.

Carl appears to be a bit stressed out over the fact that Vinney won't put out his fine Cuban Cigar, even though Santa has enacted the clean air act at the North Pole!  Beside the fact that he doesn't like the smell of Vinney's stogie, he is also very concerned the Vince is smoking his way to an early grave.

Vince, on the other hand, is an easy going, wise cracking little elf, that is full of mischief.  He is the loading dock foreman in charge of loading Santa's sleigh.  Because he is the foreman, he doesn't think the NO SMOKING rules apply to him!  His biggest concern is getting all the toys loaded before Santa's big night!  He does, however, notice the anxiety on Carl's face and is a bit worried that Carl's stress is leading him to an early grave!
