Carl and Vince

Let me introduce you to Carl and Vince.  This whimsical pair of Santa's Helpers are quite the duo.  The first handsome elf is named Carl.  He is a sensitive and shy little fellow who works on Santa's loading dock with his buddy Vince.

Carl appears to be a bit stressed out over the fact that Vinney won't put out his fine Cuban Cigar, even though Santa has enacted the clean air act at the North Pole!  Beside the fact that he doesn't like the smell of Vinney's stogie, he is also very concerned the Vince is smoking his way to an early grave.

Vince, on the other hand, is an easy going, wise cracking little elf, that is full of mischief.  He is the loading dock foreman in charge of loading Santa's sleigh.  Because he is the foreman, he doesn't think the NO SMOKING rules apply to him!  His biggest concern is getting all the toys loaded before Santa's big night!  He does, however, notice the anxiety on Carl's face and is a bit worried that Carl's stress is leading him to an early grave!

Gertrude AKA Trudy
I have been creating art for 30 plus years, and have recently started creating what I call Dreadful Darlings.  These precious little ones started life as a simple piece of fabric.  I then add stuffing, a sculpting needle, and a bit of paint, and many fun filled hours to create these one of a kind whimsical darlings.

My first doll was created this past October.  Her name is Gertrude.  She has been sold and is enjoying her new family!

Mr. Dustin D. Wind was my next creation.  He has also been sold.

I created several other dolls for Halloween, after all,  Halloween, with all  of the fun colors and monster themes is one of my favorite Holidays.

I am currently making several little creations for Christmas.  I will post pics as I finish them.

I need to thank my wonderful husband Brian, for the wonderful photos he takes of my little darlings.  He really knows how to capture their best expressions.  Thanks Honey
